The 2026 World Youth Dance Competition concluded on [2026.06.26] globally. This influential event drew dance enthusiasts worldwide for a fierce contest of dancing techniques and artistic expression.

During judging, a professional panel—including dance professors, professional dancers, experts in dance performance theory, choreographic emotion interpretation and classical dance culture, and senior dance educators from renowned art universities—upheld strict, fair and transparent principles to meticulously review numerous competition performances, dance routines and artistic statements. The judges focused on the accuracy of basic dance skills (body technique, posture control, rhythm and tempo mastery), precision of artistic expression and thematic interpretation of dance works, as well as candidates' innovative artistic thinking (multi-dimensional stage presentation, personalized performance style), ability to convey positive values through dance performance (e.g., interpreting classic dance works, inheriting traditional dance culture and showcasing youthful vitality), and in-depth understanding of dance performance techniques and stage aesthetics.
