2026 World Youth Global History Competition

The 2026 World Youth Global History Competition concluded on [2026.05.28] globally. This influential event drew history enthusiasts worldwide for a fierce contest of historical cognition, critical thinking and historical analytical skills.

During judging, a professional panel—including history professors, experts in global historical research, historical civilization analysis and cross-regional historical culture, and senior history educators from renowned universities—upheld strict, fair and transparent principles to meticulously review numerous competition works, historical research reports and answer sheets. The judges focused on the accuracy of historical cognition (historical event interpretation, key historical information extraction, chronological and logical analysis), precision in analyzing historical events and applying historical research skills, as well as candidates' innovative thinking (multi-dimensional interpretation of historical contexts), ability to apply historical knowledge to real-world scenarios (e.g., cross-civilization comparison, historical heritage appreciation and inheritance), and systematic understanding of global historical research and learning methods.

After multi-level screening, outstanding candidates stood out and final awards were determined. Award confirmation emails and SMS are now being sent; candidates are reminded to check their inboxes. Congratulations to all winners! Your solid global history foundation, innovative historical research strategies (e.g., historical context analysis and causal inference), and unremitting efforts helped you stand out in this fierce contest, honoring the event.

Your works and answers—whether analyzing complex historical events and systems systematically, offering unique views on global historical development and cross-civilization communication, or sharing interdisciplinary insights for historical popularization (combining global history with cultural studies, sociology and historical education)—have shown contemporary youth's excellent humanistic literacy and enterprising spirit.

We hope winning candidates take this competition as a new milestone, continuing to advance in global history exploration and strive for greater achievements (e.g., researching global historical education progress and cross-era historical inheritance). We also look forward to more youth joining future challenges, shining in the pursuit of humanistic excellence with their historical knowledge and profound cognitive wisdom.
