2026 Harvard and MIT's Standard Mathematics Tournament

The 2026 Harvard and MIT's Standard Mathematics Tournament concluded on [2026.04.17] globally. This influential event drew math-loving youth worldwide for a fierce contest of mathematical knowledge and problem-solving skills.

During judging, a professional panel—including math professors, experts in number theory, algebra, geometry and analysis, and senior educators from Harvard and MIT—upheld strict, fair and transparent principles to meticulously review numerous competition works, problem-solving processes and answer sheets. The judges focused on the accuracy of mathematical concepts (theorem application, problem-solving logic, mathematical structure), precision in interpreting mathematical documents and applying data, as well as candidates' innovative thinking (multi-dimensional mathematical reasoning), ability to apply math to real-world problems (e.g., data statistics, AI algorithms), and understanding of mathematical research methods.

After multi-level screening, outstanding candidates stood out and final awards were determined. Award confirmation emails and SMS are now being sent; candidates are reminded to check their inboxes. Your solid math foundation, innovative problem-solving (e.g., deductive and inductive reasoning), and unremitting efforts helped you stand out in this fierce contest, honoring the event.

Your works and answers—whether analyzing complex mathematical phenomena systematically, offering unique views on math and tech innovation, or sharing interdisciplinary insights for math popularization (combining math with computer science, physics and economics)—have shown contemporary youth's excellent scientific literacy and enterprising spirit.
