Submission Specifications for Participants
-
Participants may use diverse dance styles, including but not limited to traditional folk dance, classical dance, creative choreography, street dance, contemporary dance, and digital or mixed‑media performances. Works can be solo, duet, trio (2–3 performers), or group pieces, and may integrate interactive or stage elements (lighting, music, multimedia effects) to showcase personal style and creativity.
-
Entries should demonstrate essential dance techniques: body control, rhythm, coordination, choreographic structure, and thematic expression. Traditional forms must respect cultural and stylistic authenticity, while contemporary works encourage innovative expression. Participants may use competition‑approved music, costumes, and props or their own items that meet safety and quality standards. Rehearsal materials and auxiliary equipment are permitted to improve performance quality.
-
Participants must submit high‑quality video files clearly showing the full choreography, movements, formations, and overall presentation. A brief description including name, age and creative concept is required. Videos must be in MP4/MOV format, with clear visuals and stable audio for judging.
-
Works may be submitted via website upload, WhatsApp, or Email (only one method required), and must be named in accordance with competition rules.
Competition Rules
1、Originality: All entries must be completed independently by the participant. No submissions of others' works are allowed. Participants may use their own previous competition works.
2、Content Restrictions: All entries must not contain obscene, violent, sexual, defamatory, inappropriate, or controversial content. Violation of this rule will result in disqualification without prior notice.
3、Personal Data Use: Personal information provided by participants will only be used for competition contact purposes and to distribute competition notifications.
4、Accuracy of Information: Participants must ensure that their personal information is accurate. The organizers will not be responsible for any errors.
5、Acceptance of Terms: By submitting their entries, participants agree to all competition terms and conditions. The organizers reserve the right to disqualify any participant believed to have violated any competition rules, and there will be no appeals process.
Scoring Criteria
-
Choreographic Concept & Musical Structure: Ensure a rational overall structure, balanced movement layers, and clear thematic focus. Main dance phrases, rhythmic patterns, and transitional passages should be well-proportioned. Section and movement transitions must be natural, following core musical and choreographic principles (rhythm, tempo, musicality, spatial composition), while allowing flexible creative interpretation for young contestants. All dance elements should logically serve the core theme, ensuring complete structural integrity and distinct thematic expression.
-
Movement Language & Style Expression: Match body control, dynamics, rhythm, and performance style to the dance genre (classical, folk, modern, contemporary, street, youth-themed) and formation (solo, duet, trio, group). Convey the work’s emotional tone and core meaning through delicate changes in dynamics, rhythm, and spatial phrasing. Maintain a consistent stylistic identity throughout, with smooth transitions in multi-part or group performances.
-
Dance Technique Mastery: Demonstrate solid dance techniques, including flexibility, coordination, balance, precision, turns, leaps, and expressive body control. Ensure stable execution, clear rhythm, and full command of stage space. For group or partner works, maintain tight synchronization and balanced formation coordination. Combine standard technical execution with personal artistic expression to enhance performance quality.
-
Stage Appeal & Emotional Resonance: Integrate personal artistic perception, emotional understanding, and basic cultural awareness into the performance. Evoke audience resonance through delicate movement control, sincere emotional expression, or youthful creative interpretation. Show unique artistic insight, leave a memorable impression on judges and viewers, and convey positive artistic values and the work’s core emotional message.
