The 2026 World Youth Photography Competition concluded on [2026.08.26] globally. This influential event drew photography enthusiasts worldwide for a fierce contest of shooting techniques and artistic expression.

During judging, a professional panel—including fine arts professors, professional photographers, experts in photographic creation theory, pictorial emotional interpretation and traditional visual aesthetics, and senior art educators from renowned art universities—upheld strict, fair and transparent principles to meticulously review numerous competition artworks, shooting drafts and artistic statements. The judges focused on the accuracy of basic photography skills (lens control, composition grasp, light and shadow mastery), precision of artistic expression and thematic interpretation of photographic works, as well as candidates' innovative artistic thinking (multi-dimensional shooting perspectives, personalized photographic style), ability to convey positive values through photographic creation (e.g., recording real life moments, inheriting traditional visual art and showcasing youthful vitality), and in-depth understanding of photographic creation techniques and picture aesthetics.
