In terms of performance forms and equipment, participants can adopt a wide range of vocal styles and techniques, including but not limited to pop music, R&B, rock music, folk music, jazz, soul music, and original vocal creations. They may use traditional vocal performance setups (such as professional microphones and basic audio mixers) for their performances, or choose advanced vocal equipment like pitch correctors, vocal effectors, and digital audio workstations to enhance their vocal expressions. Whether it is a solo, duet, vocal trio, small vocal ensemble, or a collaborative performance of vocals with musical instruments (e.g., piano, guitar, or electronic music tracks), participants are encouraged to create works in any form, so as to give full play to their personal vocal strengths and creative ideas.
-
Participants are required to submit their works in the form of high-quality audio or video files. The audio must ensure clear and undistorted sound, accurately capturing the details of the participant’s vocal timbre, breath control, pitch accuracy, and emotional expression in the music. If submitting a video, it should clearly present the complete performance process, including the performer’s stage movements, facial expressions, emotional communication with the audience (or ensemble members), interactions among members in the vocal group, and relevant visual elements (e.g., stage costumes, background settings that match the music style). If the performance includes special vocal techniques, such as complex harmony singing, vocal improvisation, belting, falsetto, or vibrato, it is recommended to fully showcase these aspects. The audio formats are limited to MP3 and WAV, and the video formats are limited to MP4 and MOV, with the file size not exceeding [100] MB (the size limit can be set appropriately according to actual conditions).

Scoring Criteria
-
Musical Composition and Structure: The overall musical composition structure is reasonable. Whether it is a solo, duet, small vocal ensemble, or a collaborative performance of vocals with other instruments (or backing tracks), the arrangement of each part is appropriate. The proportions of melody, harmony, rhythm, and the vocals in relation to other elements are accurate, with no obvious issues of compositional imbalance. The progression of the music follows a logical order, and the transitions between different sections (such as from verse to chorus, solo vocal parts to ensemble sections) are natural, smooth, and tightly connected.
-
Tone and Dynamics Expression: The tone of the vocals paired with other instruments (or backing tracks) is harmonious, and the overall sound of the performance is rich in layers. Based on the theme and emotion of the music, appropriate expressive techniques are employed. For example, shifts in emotion are conveyed through dynamic gradations (such as a crescendo from soft to loud in the vocal part, subtle changes in volume), and key musical moments are emphasized through tone contrasts (like the bright upper register versus the warm lower register, the tonal difference between powerful belting and delicate falsetto). The transition of tone between different sections or sound groups is natural and smooth, enhancing the overall auditory experience.
-
Mastery of Performance Techniques and Abilities: The performers' performance is natural and expressive. They demonstrate mastery of various vocal techniques, including vocal control abilities (such as breath stability, pitch accuracy, vibrato amplitude control), application of special techniques (like belting, falsetto, harmonizing, vocal runs, scatting), and ensemble coordination (for duets or groups). These techniques are applied skillfully and superbly, reflecting a high level of performance. Whether handling rapid melodic progressions, complex harmony combinations, rhythmic syncopations, or improvised variations, the performers maintain excellent control and precision.
-
Artistic Appeal and Emotional Resonance: The performers have a profound understanding of the musical theme and can fully integrate their own emotions and interpretations into the performance. The performance is engaging and expressive, capable of evoking strong emotional resonance from the audience—whether it is the passion and vitality inherent in pop music performances, the tenderness and warmth in folk music interpretations, or the soulfulness and depth of R&B presentations. Their stage presence (such as a confident demeanor, interaction with collaborators, and a sense of communication with the "audience" in recorded formats) and interpretation of the musical spirit are also important considerations. The performance leaves a deep and lasting impression, effectively conveying the artistic concepts and emotional core that the music intends to express through skilled techniques and sincere expression.
