Competition Content
-
Participants can adopt diverse art forms, including but not limited to painting (oil, watercolor, acrylic), sculpture (clay, wood, metal), digital art (illustration, 3D modeling), and mixed-media works. They may create solo pieces, collaborative artworks (with 2-3 creators), series works, or integrate art with interactive elements (sound, light, installation) to showcase personal aesthetics and creativity, with essential artistic techniques like color matching, composition layout, texture expression, and form shaping to be demonstrated—traditional art forms require adhering to material characteristics, while contemporary works allow innovative expression approaches. For creation tools, participants may use the competition’s recommended materials (acid-free paper, non-toxic pigments) or bring their own (meeting safety/quality requirements); sketch drafts (for planning) and auxiliary tools (rulers, sculpting knives) are also permitted to enhance work precision and artistic effect.
-
Participants must submit high-quality image/video files that clearly show the full artwork, including complete details, color accuracy, texture presentation, and overall form—special techniques (layered painting, texture carving, digital rendering) should be visible, and a brief description (name, age, work title, creation concept) is required. Image formats are limited to JPG/PNG (resolution no less than 300 DPI), video formats to MP4/MOV (for dynamic/interactive works), with file size not exceeding [300] MB (adjustable per actual needs), and participants should review files to ensure top visual quality and detail clarity for judging.
Competition Rules
1、Originality: All entries must be completed independently by the participant. No submissions of others' works are allowed. Participants may use their own previous competition works.
2、Content Restrictions: All entries must not contain obscene, violent, sexual, defamatory, inappropriate, or controversial content. Violation of this rule will result in disqualification without prior notice.
3、Personal Data Use: Personal information provided by participants will only be used for competition contact purposes and to distribute competition notifications.
4、Accuracy of Information: Participants must ensure that their personal information is accurate. The organizers will not be responsible for any errors.
5、Acceptance of Terms: By submitting their entries, participants agree to all competition terms and conditions. The organizers reserve the right to disqualify any participant believed to have violated any competition rules, and there will be no appeals process.
Scoring Criteria
-
Artwork Conception and Structure: The overall structure of the artwork is reasonable. Whether it is a solo piece, collaborative work, series, or interactive installation, the arrangement of each artistic element (shape, color, space, details) is appropriate. The proportions of main subjects, background elements, decorative details, and interactive components (if any) are accurate, with no obvious issues of compositional imbalance. The presentation of the artwork follows a logical visual order, and the transitions between different parts (such as from foreground to background in paintings, from main form to auxiliary details in sculptures) are natural, smooth, and tightly connected.
-
Color/Texture and Style Expression: The artwork’s color palette (whether bright, soft, or contrasting) or texture (whether smooth, rough, or layered) paired with interactive elements (if any) is harmonious, and the overall work is rich in visual layers. Based on the artwork’s theme and style (realism, abstraction, surrealism), appropriate expressive techniques are employed. For example, emotional tone is conveyed through color gradations (such as a transition from cool tones to warm tones, subtle changes in saturation), and key visual moments are emphasized through contrasts (like the sharpness of main subjects versus the softness of background, the solidity of sculpted forms versus the fluidity of digital effects). The transition of style between different parts or series works is natural and smooth, enhancing the overall visual experience.
-
Mastery of Artistic Techniques and Abilities: The creator’s execution is natural and skilled. They demonstrate mastery of various artistic techniques, including material control abilities (such as pigment blending, material shaping, tool operation), application of special techniques (like glazing, carving, digital texturing), and collaborative coordination (for co-created works). These techniques are applied skillfully and superbly, reflecting a high level of artistic skill. Whether handling complex color transitions, delicate texture details, three-dimensional form shaping, or interactive effect debugging, the creator maintains excellent control and precision.
-
Artistic Appeal and Emotional Resonance: The creator has a profound understanding of the artwork’s theme and can fully integrate their own aesthetics and emotions into the creation. The work is visually engaging and expressive, capable of evoking strong emotional resonance from the viewers—whether it is the realism and detail in traditional paintings, the three-dimensionality and texture in sculptures, or the innovation and interactivity in digital art. Their presentation of artistic spirit (such as confident style expression, unique creative perspective, sincere emotional conveyance) and interpretation of the theme’s meaning are also important considerations. The work leaves a deep and lasting impression, effectively conveying the artistic value and emotional core that the piece intends to express through skilled techniques and sincere creation.
