In terms of performance forms and auxiliary elements, participants can adopt a wide range of dance styles and techniques, including but not limited to classical dance, modern dance, hip-hop, folk dance, contemporary dance, and original choreographies. They may use traditional dance performance setups (such as standard dance floors, basic stage lighting, and appropriate dance costumes that match the style) for their performances, or choose auxiliary elements like background music (instrumental, vocal, or original tracks), simple props (scarves, hats, or style-specific items like folk dance fans), and coordinated group formations to enhance their dance expressions. Whether it is a solo dance, duet, trio, small dance ensemble, or a collaborative performance combining dance with other art forms (e.g., dance with live music accompaniment, narrative dance with simple scene-setting), participants are encouraged to create works in any form, so as to give full play to their personal dance strengths and creative ideas.
-
Participants are required to submit their works in the form of high-quality video files. The video must ensure clear audio and smooth visuals, accurately capturing the details of the participants’ dance techniques (posture, jumps, turns, flexibility), rhythm control, emotional expression, and costume/props coordination. It should clearly present the complete performance process, including the dancers’ full-body movements (to show technique details), facial expressions, emotional communication between group members (for ensemble dances), and relevant visual elements (e.g., dance costumes that highlight the style, background settings or lighting that match the dance theme). If the performance includes special dance techniques, such as complex spins, jumps, floor work, synchronized group movements, or emotional storytelling through choreography, it is recommended to fully showcase these aspects with appropriate camera angles. The video formats are limited to MP4 and MOV, with the file size not exceeding [300] MB (the size limit can be set appropriately according to actual conditions).
Competition Rules

3、Personal Data Use: Personal information provided by participants will only be used for competition contact purposes and to distribute competition notifications.
4、Accuracy of Information: Participants must ensure that their personal information is accurate. The organizers will not be responsible for any errors.
5、Acceptance of Terms: By submitting their entries, participants agree to all competition terms and conditions. The organizers reserve the right to disqualify any participant believed to have violated any competition rules, and there will be no appeals process.
Scoring Criteria
-
Dance Choreography and Structure: The overall dance choreography structure is reasonable. Whether it is a solo, duet, small dance ensemble, or a collaborative performance combining dance with other art forms (e.g., dance with live music, narrative dance), the arrangement of each movement segment (opening, development, climax, ending) and group formation (for ensemble dances) is appropriate. The proportions of core movements, transitional actions, and interactive segments (between dancers) are accurate, with no obvious issues of choreographic imbalance. The progression of the dance follows a logical order, and the transitions between different sections (such as from slow-moving expressive parts to dynamic rhythmic segments, or from solo highlights to group synchronized movements) are natural, smooth, and tightly connected.
-
Movement Texture and Dynamics Expression: The movement texture (e.g., sharp, fluid, heavy, light) of the dance, paired with background music or stage elements, is harmonious, and the overall performance is rich in layers. Based on the dance theme and emotion (e.g., passionate for hip-hop, graceful for classical dance), appropriate dynamic techniques are employed. For example, shifts in emotion are conveyed through dynamic gradations (such as a build-up from soft, slow movements to strong, fast actions, subtle changes in movement intensity), and key dance moments are emphasized through texture contrasts (like the contrast between crisp, quick jumps and smooth, flowing spins, or the difference between powerful, grounded steps and delicate, floating gestures). The transition of movement texture between different sections or dancer groups is natural and smooth, enhancing the overall visual experience.
-
Mastery of Dance Techniques and Abilities: The dancers' performance is natural and expressive. They demonstrate mastery of various dance techniques, including basic movement control (such as stable body posture, accurate jump landing, flexible limb extension), application of special techniques (like complex spins, floor work, synchronized group formations, style-specific moves such as folk dance fan skills or hip-hop breaks), and ensemble coordination (for duets or groups). These techniques are applied skillfully and superbly, reflecting a high level of dance ability. Whether handling rapid rhythmic sequences, complex movement combinations, synchronized group actions, or improvised segments (if applicable), the dancers maintain excellent control and precision.
-
Artistic Appeal and Emotional Resonance: The dancers have a profound understanding of the dance theme and can fully integrate their own emotions and interpretations into the performance. The dance is engaging and expressive, capable of evoking strong emotional resonance from the audience—whether it is the energy and vitality inherent in hip-hop performances, the elegance and grace in classical dance, or the sincerity and warmth in folk dance interpretations. Their stage presence (such as a confident demeanor, emotional facial expressions, interaction with collaborators, and a sense of communication with the "audience" in recorded formats) and interpretation of the dance spirit are also important considerations. The performance leaves a deep and lasting impression, effectively conveying the artistic concepts and emotional core that the dance intends to express through skilled techniques and sincere expression.
