Competition Content​

  • In terms of writing tools and forms, contestants can use traditional writing methods, such as pen, brush, or ballpoint pen on paper, as well as digital writing tools, including word - processing software on computers, tablets, or mobile devices. They can create works in various forms, such as essays, stories, poems, or micro - novels, in either Chinese or English, or a bilingual combination, giving full play to their personal strengths and creativity.

  • ​Entrants should submit their works in the form of text files. For traditional hand - written works, they should be scanned with high - resolution to ensure that all characters are clear and legible. The text format is limited to TXT, DOC, DOCX, or PDF. If the work has special formatting, such as calligraphy - style text or unique paragraph arrangements, it should be presented clearly in the file. The file size should not exceed [20] MB (a suitable size limit can be set according to the actual situation).

Competition Rules

​1、Originality: All entries must be completed independently by the participant. No submissions of others' works are allowed. Participants may use their own previous competition works.
 

2、Content Restrictions: All entries must not contain obscene, violent, sexual, defamatory, inappropriate, or controversial content. Violation of this rule will result in disqualification without prior notice.
 

3、Personal Data Use: Personal information provided by participants will only be used for competition contact purposes and to distribute competition notifications.
 

​4、Accuracy of Information: Participants must ensure that their personal information is accurate. The organizers will not be responsible for any errors.
 

5、Acceptance of Terms: By submitting their entries, participants agree to all competition terms and conditions. The organizers reserve the right to disqualify any participant believed to have violated any competition rules, and there will be no appeals process.

  • Structure and Coherence: The overall structure of the writing is well - organized. The arrangement of paragraphs and ideas within the text is appropriate. The narrative or argument follows a logical flow, with a clear beginning, middle, and end. There is no obvious disconnection or imbalance in the overall composition, and all elements of the content are proportionally developed to support the central theme.

  • Language Application: The language used is harmonious in terms of grammar, vocabulary, and sentence structure. The writing style conveys a sense of sophistication and appropriateness. Appropriate language expression techniques can be employed according to the theme and emotions, such as the use of metaphors, similes, and rhetorical devices in Chinese or English. The transition between sentences and paragraphs is natural and smooth, ensuring a fluent reading experience.

  • Writing Skills and Techniques: The writing style is natural and expressive. The writer demonstrates a good command of language and can skillfully apply appropriate writing techniques, such as foreshadowing, flashback, and parallelism. The use of language is precise and vivid, with smooth expression of ideas, showing a high level of writing proficiency.

  • Artistic Appeal: The writer shows a deep understanding of the writing theme and can effectively integrate emotions into the text. The content is full of appeal, capable of arousing the emotional resonance of the readers. The writing is memorable, leaving a lasting and profound impression on the audience, and effectively conveying the intended message and emotions..
