Judges assessed the entries based on two core dimensions: literary craftsmanship (including language proficiency, narrative structure, and stylistic refinement) and creative innovation (such as thematic depth, emotional resonance, and cross-genre experimentation).

 

• Literary Craftsmanship: Evaluations focused on the writers’ command of complex literary skills, such as the precision of language in lyrical prose, the coherence of plotlines in fiction, or the logical rigor and emotional appeal of personal essays.

• Creative Expression: Entries that reimagined classic literary works (e.g., adapting Shakespearean tragedies into modern short stories) or presented original pieces centered on social themes (e.g., essays exploring youth mental health or poetry addressing global inequality) stood out prominently.

• Cultural Fusion: Works that blended Indian storytelling traditions (such as katha) with contemporary speculative fiction, or integrated Latin American magical realism into personal narratives, showcased exceptional cross-cultural literary vision.
