2026 World Youth English Reading Challenge

The 2026 World Youth English Reading Challenge concluded on [2026.04.17] globally. This influential event drew English-reading enthusiasts worldwide for a fierce contest of reading comprehension and analytical skills.

During judging, a professional panel—including English professors, experts in linguistics, literary analysis and cross-cultural communication, and senior English educators from renowned universities—upheld strict, fair and transparent principles to meticulously review numerous competition works, reading reports and answer sheets. The judges focused on the accuracy of reading comprehension (text interpretation, key information extraction, logical analysis), precision in analyzing literary works and applying reading skills, as well as candidates' innovative thinking (multi-dimensional text interpretation), ability to apply reading skills to real-world scenarios (e.g., cross-cultural communication, literary appreciation), and understanding of English reading methods.
