The 2026 World Youth Piano Competition concluded on [2026.05.28] globally. This influential event drew piano enthusiasts worldwide for a fierce contest of performing techniques and artistic expression.

During judging, a professional panel—including music professors, professional piano performers, experts in piano performance theory, musical emotion interpretation and classical music culture, and senior music educators from renowned art universities—upheld strict, fair and transparent principles to meticulously review numerous competition performances, performance scores and artistic statements. The judges focused on the accuracy of basic piano skills (finger technique, intonation, rhythm and tempo control), precision of musical expression and thematic interpretation of piano pieces, as well as candidates' innovative artistic thinking (multi-dimensional musical presentation, personalized performance style), ability to convey positive values through piano performance (e.g., interpreting classic melodies, inheriting musical culture and showcasing youthful vitality), and in-depth understanding of piano playing techniques and musical aesthetics.
