Scoring Criteria

  • Photography Composition and Layout:The overall composition structure of the photographic work is reasonable. Whether it is a single photograph, a series of group photos, or theme-based photography, the layout of various elements in the picture is appropriate and coordinated. The proportions of elements such as the main subject, secondary subject, and background are suitable, without obvious issues of compositional imbalance. The visual flow of the work follows a logical order, and the transitions between different parts (such as from the foreground to the middle ground, middle ground to the background, main subject to the environment) are natural and smooth, guiding the audience's line of sight to move in an orderly manner.

  • Light, Shadow and Color Expression:The combination of light, shadow and color is harmonious and unified, and the overall visual effect of the work is full of layering and texture. According to the theme and emotion of the photography, appropriate expression techniques are used. For example, the change of atmosphere is conveyed through the light and shadow gradient (such as the transition from shadow to highlight, subtle changes in light and shadow), and key visual information is highlighted by means of color contrast (such as the collision of cold and warm colors, the matching of bright colors and light colors). The transition of light, shadow and color between different parts of the picture is natural and smooth, enhancing the overall visual experience.

  • Mastery of Photography Skills and Abilities:The photographer's use of skills is natural and accurate. They demonstrate mastery of a variety of photography skills, including equipment operation capabilities (such as focusing accuracy, shutter speed control, aperture adjustment), technique application (such as exposure control, white balance adjustment, depth of field processing), and the coherence of series works (such as style unity and content connection in group photos). These skills are used proficiently and appropriately, reflecting a high level of photography literacy. Whether dealing with complex scene shooting, dynamic object capture, shooting in special light environments or the implementation of creative techniques, the photographer can maintain good control and precision.

  • Artistic Appeal and Emotional Resonance:The photographer has a deep understanding of the theme of the work and can fully integrate their own emotions and interpretations into the photography. The work is attractive and expressive, and can arouse strong emotional resonance among the audience - whether through the real power of documentary photography, the emotional transmission of portrait photography, the magnificent shock of landscape photography, or the unique conception of creative photography. The visual tension presented by the work (such as the impact of the picture, the appeal of details, the clarity of the theme) and the interpretation of the spirit of photography are also important aspects. The work can leave a deep and lasting impression, and effectively convey the intended artistic concept and emotional core through skilled techniques and true expression.
